This article describes how to do a clean uninstallation of Microsoft Skype for Business on Mac. To cleanly uninstall Skype of Business on Mac, follow these steps: Log on to your computer by using administrative credentials. Exit Skype For Business on Mac if it’s running. Drag the Skype For Business on Mac application to the Trash. If you choose to recover your account or create a new one, you can always download and install the latest version of Skype back on your Mac. How to Uninstall Skype for Business. Skype for Business is a business-oriented version of Skype that has a few additional productivity features. Choose Skype for Business Uninstall. If you don't see Skype for Business listed, then you're using a version that's integrated with other Office 365 apps. The only way to uninstall it is to remove all of Office from your computer. Uninstall skype for business mac. Find Skype in the list, right-click it and select Remove or Uninstall. (If you can’t find Skype in your installed programs, follow the directions here). Download and install the latest version of Skype. Quit Skype by secondary clicking Skype, then select Quit Skype. Open your Applications folder and drag your copy of Skype to the trash.
