Templates are designed for some of the more common types of documents (such as letters, reports, and flyers), and they use coordinated fonts, text styles, and colors for a unified look. Enabling & Using Tabs in Pages for Mac Open Pages on the Mac as usual, then pull down the 'View' menu. Choose 'Show Tab Bar'.
